Gwen Marston Lecture

In conjunction with Cottage Quiltworks and Quiltsmith, Gwen will be conducting a lecture on Thursday 11th July at 7 pm for 7.30 pm at Mary McKillop Auditorium North Sydney. The lecture will be based on her book Ideas and Inspirations: Abstract Quilts in Solids. Gwen will have quilts to show and answer questions.
Tickets are available at $50 each and a light supper will be served.

Sue has a unique style and covers a range of designs from very pretty soft traditional quilts to outrageous bright and quirky. She has the uncanny ability to combine wild, even ugly with more traditional fabrics to create amazing quilts. Sue works with a combination of hand and machine piecing techniques along with applique.
